Welcome to the latest edition of The Weekly Wrap. We’ve been working behind the scenes lately to bring some new challenges to training and with the London Olympics right around the corner, what better idea than to train like an Olympian. Check out the latest Weekly Wrap for the goss!

What’s been happening?

Body Balance Challenge reaching the end…
Now into the second last week of competition the participants were asked to sit an exam to demonstrate their knowledge fo the 10 Rules of Good Nutrition, list some of the favourite recipes from their Gourmet Nutrition Cookbooks and also state their case as to why they deserve to win the Two night Accomodation package at Bannisters Lodge in Mollymook. There were some great responses and there has certainly been some outstanding results. The Winner will be announced next Saturday 28th July at the Blue Diamond Bar.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 
Group Training Memberships relaunched

Due to the success of Body Balance Nutrition Program in Kiama and our Kiama Personal Training  programs, we’ve identified a need to check in with our Group Training Members more often to help review their programs, identify successes and challenges and help them get better reults from their programs This type of accountability is crucial in maintaining motivation, avoiding injury and continually improving. Accordingly, we’ve relaunched our Kiama Group Training Memberships to include regular Consultations and in the spirit of the Olympics there’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Memberships now available. Kiama Fitness Group In the Spotlight

Seems as though we’re attracting a lot of attention lately at Oxygen Health & Fitness. With record numbers still turning out for our morning Kiama Boot Camp Classes, plenty of good feedback from local residents and business owners, plus the ongoing enquiries I had a feeling we were doing ok.

Now there’s even extra attention throughout the region as the below photo demonstrates. The group pictured here in Orange at our very own Hindmarsh Park training grounds in Kiama is none other than the Wests Tigers Rugby League team. As well as they may be playing on the field at the moment, they just couldn’t seem to match you guys with the Boxing rounds you’ve been smashing out lately. It certainly was interesting to see the methods and training protocols the Personal Trainers were using with these professional athletes and it reinforced to me just how fit and committed our Oxygen members are.

On the topic of attention, as a Kiama Personal Trainer I was interviewed last week by the Illawarra Mercury about “ways to stay motivated through the cooler months”. This article will be published next Wednesday with photographs from TONIGHT’S Interval Run session. The photographer is coming down for 6pm tonight so I ask everyone to turn out in force with your Oxygen shirt or singlet on. When you consider there’s no Saturday Boxing session and no classes AT ALL on Monday, you’re gunna need tonight’s session to get a head start on all those Easter eggs and Hot Cross Buns that’ll be consumed this weekend!
So in summary, you’re as fit as a professional footballer, I‘m proud of you and you need to get to class tonight to make up for the Easter calories! Happy Easter from all of us at Oxygen Kiama, drive safe this looooong weekend and don’t forget Stretch 6am tomorrow morning then no classes until next Tuesday.
