Squats are a Quad dominant exercise. They also use the hamstrings, glutes, lower back, core, calves and a heap of other muscles too. They’re a favourite with the girls because Squats help shape lean, sexy legs and a toned tush. For guys that are serious about their Kiama Fitness Program, they love em too. What I mean is, I know plenty of guys athat could bench press a small truck but get em doing a few Squats and they’ll whinge like little school girls. “Oh I don’t do Squats cause of my lower back” blablabla, rubbish! Man up.
